Get the opportunity to learn backwoods skills with one of Galway’s top Backwoods groups! Join 26th Kilcoona Ventures at Big Island to learn the secrets of good fires, natural shelters and tarp based shelters. Ask all the questions you need! This promises a lot of fun mixed with learning.

This is a Venture led event for Ventures. There will be two sessions on Sunday 26th Feb, one at 10am and one at 2pm Maximum 25 people per session. Each group will require a scouter in attendance and consent forms. A small fee is required to cover material costs, and to fundraise for equipment. A gear list will be provided closer to the date.
