Cubs Walk – Clonbur to Cong

We will walk the Clonbur to Cong woodland trail. This is approx 6KM and brings us from Clonbur , to the Pigeon Hole , under two roads and onwards into Cong. In Cong we will come via Cong Woods but will meet Parents at Cong Roundabout. Weather will be cold , so Cubs are advised to dress appropriately. Its due to rain and so Wet Gear advised.

Meeting Time: 10:30am in Clonbur

Collection time: 2pm in Cong

What to wear and bring on the hike

• Christmas Hats 🎅 ( if Cubs have them )
• Rucksack (no string bags)
• Hiking Boots or suitable shoes for walking on forest paths
• Rain gear (coat and trousers)
• Water
• Warm Drink
• Lunch & snacks
• Personal first aid kit
• Black seats
• Neckerchief
• Hat and gloves
• Warm layers
• Hand sanitiser
• Tick/miggie spray
