This year 26th Galway Scout Group are organising a group camp for all sections. This will be an exciting weekend at the Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre. It is a great opportunity for all the group to get together and learn new skills and have lots of fun.
Location: Petersburg Adventure Centre F12 X589
- Cub, Scouts & Ventures will arrive on Friday (14th April) evening and will be camping for 2 nights and taking part in one of the centre’s activities as well and having lots of fun activities organised by the group
- Beavers will arrive on Saturday (15th April) morning and stay in the centre’s indoor accommodation. they will take part in the activities organised by the group
Cost
– We hope to keep the cost within budget but this may change due to the numbers attending

There will be no transport provided to and from this camp

| Clothes for activities (the activity will be weather dependent) -Set of old clothes & wellies (they will get muddy) -Swimming costume, long sleeve activity top, trainers or wet shoes, wetsuit if you have one, Petersburg Adventure Centre will supply them. |
Note: There is no need to bring any food (including sweets) as it will all be provided.
If your Beaver, Cub, Scout or Venture requires any medication while we are on the camp please speak to your section leader. For any medication needed by your child please provide it in a clear resealable plastic bag with instructions on it. It will also include a medical consent form.
Drop off time: Please sign in with your section leader when dropping off your child.
- Cubs, Scouts & Ventures Friday 14th drop of time: 7pm
- Beavers Saturday 15th drop off time: 10am
- All sections collection time Sunday 16th: 2 pm
