Chinese New Year

Our Beavers and Cubs celebrated Chinese New Year ( known as Lunar New Year ) by carrying out various activities. Lunar New Year was on Friday 12th February.

Our Beavers created Chinese Lanterns with card, paper , glue and careful use of a scissors ! They also took part in a quiz over Zoom which was great fun.

Our Cubs created Lanterns also ( amazing examples below ! ) , found out all about Lunar New Year , the animals from the year they were born ( Year of the Ox for this time around !)
