Fun with Fire with Big Mike !This evening we looked at what scouting means to everyone and the kids wrote their favourite parts of being a Beaver scout on their paper hand prints. They practised their Beavers promise and learned a little history of Scouting. This is towards our 1st year Beavers’ long overdue investiture and a refresher for all Beavers especially our 3rd years who will be moving up to Cubs in September.
We finished up with a Mindfulness session to help everyone to connect with the natural environment around them. Feel the ground beneath them, the direction and feeling of the breeze, the warmth and direction of the sun and the sounds in the air around us.
We also played with gravity a little and relaxed before heading home 🙂
